Paris

Last weekend I got the opportunity to go to Paris. It was crazy exciting; however, nothing like I expected. I had pictured Paris as this glamourous perfect place but in actuality it was very scary and dirty. Christina and I had to constantly cling to our things and each other as we navigated the streets of Paris. Overall it was amazing.

Once we checked into our amazing hotel we went walking around town. We walked for an hour and a half in search of the Eiffel tower. We found it just in time to watch the light show. It was beautiful.

After that we were so tired from walking and traveling that we went to a restaurant to have dinner and margaritas. I had spaghetti Bolognese and it was superb.

This right here should be illegal. It is a chocolate mouse and easily the best thing I have ever had in the world.

My hotel and the incredible view.

The Louvre. We accidentally got inside without tickets. Security guards love us.

Just hanging outside the Louvre.

Arc de Triomphe

Paris is a beautiful place.

Oh gosh this thing is a party golf cart. We were about to fall asleep in our hotel when we heard this loud music and flashing lights. I look out the window to see a little golf cart with strobe lights, huge speakers, and decorations all over it. I was so excited when I found it again during the day.

The Seine River.

I just thought this boat was adorable.

I was obsessed with Notre Dame. It was just so beautiful.

Excellence. Lovin that name for a boat.

Paris was seriously so great. Im so thankful to be in this beautiful country. Im learning so much about myself and, in that, discovering deeper levels of intimacy with Jesus. Its been such an amazing journey and I'm looking forward to what else is in store for me. Sorry my blogs haven't been more entertaining but give me a break I'm straight up exhausted. Ill work on it! Tomorrow I'm leaving for Rome and then next week Im going to an Olympic games, seeing Broadway shows in London, and taking the Harry Potter tour. I'll keep you posted.

Lots of Love,
Katy
